As always, it is an Honour to photograph anyone’s wedding, but its even better when they are lovely fun people and they welcome you into their day like family. Amy & Chris got married at Dunston Hall in Norfolk where they spent the day, with some stunning weather and a very hostile Oster Catcher keeping people amused fun was had by all.
Whilst driving to Blickling Hall woodland in Norfolk, England I was very worried as the rain was pouring down hard! However, just as we arrived at the location the skies broke open and the sun poured through albeit a little chilly we managed to capture some beautiful images in stunning light.
I always feel exceptionally honoured to be asked to photograph someone’s wedding day. No matter how big or small, they are all very special and capturing the day for people to give them a lifetime of memories is very uplifting. Today I was in Cambridgeshire shooting the wedding of Julie & Michale. With a poor start to the day weather wise we all thought it was going to be very wet, but on arrival at the ceremony the weather was beautiful and stayed with us all day until sunset, and what a beautiful sunset it was too! A small wedding, but a perfect one!
I was recently very honored to be asked to photograph a beautiful wedding at Norwich Cathedral with Hazel & Paul Bowen! What a gorgeous day in a stunning setting. Only a select few are allowed to get married here each year which makes it even more magical. Assisted by my trusty sidekick Mr Jones.
Tonight I had the pleasure of photographing Michelle & Steve in celebration of their engagement. I met with the lovely couple in Cromer on what was an overcast and dull evening, however, the clouds had broken enough to allow some gorgeous transient light creating a beautiful ambiance in the images. A very fun photoshoot indeed, I can’t wait for the wedding!

I had a lovely day with Daniel Jones yesterday photographing the Cox wedding in North Norfolk. The weather was heavy rain in the morning, but after the church ceremony in Cromer it was a beautiful afternoon and even better evening. This was the first wedding that I shot with the new Nikon D5 and it certainly did not let me down! I look forward to sharing the rest of the images soon…
